Put my romantic life on hold for a long time. Dated a lot in my 20s and early 30s when I was a Naval officer. I got focused on a graduate degree, a career, and then adopting my daughter from China. Focused on making sure she had a loving, safe, secure home. Looked up one day and realized that she is getting older and will eventually grow up and have her own life. I want to have a life of my own too. I would like that life to include a loving, caring companion and partner for life.

i like to laugh. Need to laugh. Don’t always get the punch line. Maybe I think too literally. I have been told I have a good sense of humor. Don’t mind little dirty jokes but I’m not a fan of racial, gay, etc. jokes.

I am an affectionate person. Once I get to know you (if I feel it) expect me to routinely hold your hand, kiss, hug, rub your back, and tell you what I find attractive about you. Reciprocation would be GREATLY appreciated.
