Initially, I might appear shy and reserved...I'm actually being observant, listening, and checking things out. I'm cautious. Once I'm comfortable, I'm not shy at all. I really like being around people, meeting new people.
I'm a good person. I care about others, I love my family and friends and love being with them. I'm a good friend and confidant. I'm a good companion and mate for the right person, at the right time. I'm hoping to find that special friend, companion, mate and I believe that I will and that it will be the right time. I like going to social events of varied types from backyard BBQ to formal business or personal events. I like a good sense of humor and kidding, playing around and having fun is okay with me. I am kind, thoughtful, and caring and hope to meet someone who is as well. The little things count with me. Like everyone else, I like the beach, concerts, exploring places with interesting histories, road trips might be okay if it's with the right person or group. I can listen to all types of music within limit: country, Korean, pop, rock n roll. My preference is jazz (94.7 The Wave), R&B, oldies. I can't carry a tune, but that doesn't stop me from singing along lol. I like dancing with others or by myself. I really like being outdoors and near the water, yet I don't swim and don't want to...long story.
I like most movies, but don't really care for those vicious killing movies...I can explain what I mean later. I like a mature man who has determined what he needs and wants in a companion or mate. I'm considered by some of my friends as old-fashioned when it comes to how I treat my man and our roles in a relationship. My expectations are high, but I know I'm worth it and that the man for me is worth it too. Outside of us...what others think might be considered, but we determine what works for us.
