...it's been some time since updating this profile of mine, so I thought I would give it some time...and thought, today.
A lot has happened recently, to be humbled by and to find myself being even more grateful for God blessing my life even more than it had been in the past! What's even greater is the increase of smiles and laughter that's been added to life!! How can anyone complain about that?
I'm known as "qyetridr" when handling a horse..."ironridr" when on my bike..."qyetbeliever" when it comes to my faith...but always a "friend" to those who know me best. I don't try to live better than anyone else and certainly don't feel that I'm better than anyone else...in fact I focus on treating others with respect and kindness. My dad taught me that "people will know you're strong in the area's of life that matter most, if you're kind to them...not if you treat them unkindly..." So, I guess that's how I look at others, as they enter and leave areas of my life.
I've also been known as a poet of sorts...a musician (not according to the dogs though)...and best of all to me, a dad! I've always loved being a dad to my kids...and think I'd be very accepting of other children as well.
Still growing in my faith, I strive every day to strengthen my relationship with God and His Son Jesus. It's important to me. I do attend church, however many times my church is in the mountains...not enclosed in a building. Most times, in the mountains, it's me...my horse...and my dog. Since Jesus said "where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there will I be in their midst..." I figure I'm in terrific company...! And yes, I do count my dog and my horse...(gentlesmileshere)
There are many things in life that I absolutely LOVE... a loving relationship with my kids, also one with a loving woman in my life...I miss that very much actually. I also love baseball, the water-front, Pike Street Market, and the antique stores in Seattle. I like Salmon/Steelhead fishing, taking day or weekend trips on my motorcycle...going out to a nice resturaunt for dinner, walking in the park, hiking and you'll find me just as content being at home working on my place here. Being over 50 now doesn't mean I'm on the "down-hill" slide...what it really means is that I've had enough life experience now to know how to have more fun than ever and also
what it takes to create the memories that will last "you and I", a lifetime!!
You'll find me to be a one woman man... very protective over those whom I love... and someone that at times, will cause your laughing at me to be uncontrollable!! Although, I will not take responsibility for you peeing your pants if that happens!!! (bigsmiles)
I'd like to say that for the most part, I know we're dealing with a possible "Beauty and the Beast" issue here... but I can warm your heart with my smile...and always, find a way around the mud puddles and not through them! So, does any of this make sense? Does it find balance in you, with how you feel...or what you hope for or better yet, have prayed for? Then please write if it has...
