This a subsequent edit. I have been receiving many request to chat etc... I just want to say, that I posted my picture up there and only think it is fair for a respondent to send me their picture. I am sorry for this feeling, but I do not waste your time and I am sure you do not want to waste my time if the attraction is just not right..

You are about to read one of the most honest Bio's you have ever read on this forum. As you know, my name is Bob. I am (and believe me I use to be very vain about this...72 years old). But, I have not one grey hair on my head and I do not use "Just For Men" hair dye. I look a lot longer than my age. And act it ha ha .
My wife died in 1997 and left with me with two boys (1 and 3 years old). I raised them by myself from that point on and now, one has graduated from FSU with honors and the second guy is going to graduate from FSU next years with honors.
So, I have been a Mr. Mom since 1997. Maybe some of you have raised kids like I did, and, if so, we have a special "bond" of knowing how difficult it is and the sacrifices we made. But I was able to succeed in this and they are both great kids and have wonderful job offers and prospects. So, the old man was successful in this endeavor.
But, good rewards cost money and more importantly, require extreme commitment. And even though I was financially comfortable when Debby (my wife who died in 1997), I spent everything I had raising them and sending them to collage. Would I do it again and wind up in "Debtors Prison"? Yes, I would.
So now, not having worked since 1997, raising two kids, spending all my finances, I am doomed....I spent everything I had to make these kids make it through through life, and their college and now I live on a fixed income which only allows me a little bit of fun each month. And this is why I do not try to date even though I would like to have someone to share my lonely nights with. But, my motto is "If I can not pay, I do not play". I may not have much income now, but I have a lot of pride which I will never give up.
So, what am I like. Oh and what do I want to meet with someone....oh boy, is this going to be fun ha ha.
I love to have fun. I love to laugh. I love to have honest conversations. I love to do thing spontaneously. I love to hold hands. I love to take the lady's arm in my hand as we cross the street. l Love to walk on the street side of the sidewalk making sure she is on the inside of our walk as we walk along street. I love to open her car door, and the restaurant door and to pull out the chair for her. I love to listen to good music with her. I love to be at the beach in the morning or at sunset with her. I love to have a glass of wine and wonderful conversation. I love to look at her eyes as we talk. I love to watch her eat her salad and love it when she says "try a bite of this salad", but I love it when I say "no" to something and she says "come on Bobby, try this"...and I do and I say "Oh, that wasn't so bad... I think I liked that", and she smiles at me with those wonderful eyes. And most importantly, I love to ask her what is important to her. What does she have and what does she want
If you are interested in a guy that could wine and dine you every week, go on vacations with you, buy you presents every week, and be totally financially secure, I am not the guy for you. Could we go out once in a while, yes we can and both would have a great time. I live a modest lifestyle and would be someone special, but not "what's his name in "Fifty Shades Of Grey". If that is what you want, just go to the next profile.
So, in closing, I will say that I really do not know why I signed up for this website. I kind of think it is a money grabber making the people that signed up think every woman in the area is interested in meeting me. But I am not going to fall for that. I am not going to sign up until there is something substantial that might be real and true.
Please send me a picture. I cannot say in all honesty I will respond. But, if I do, there is an interest that you accept me as I am visually and you accept me with my Bio. I would only want you to understand, I have to do the same thing in return. If it is good, that is great...but if it is not right, it was just not to be.
