I'm kind, smart and independent. I'm also caring and empathetic. I enjoy hiking, being outside and Nature in general. My favorite things to do besides hiking is swimming; I swim a couple of miles a week. In addition, I'm a bookworm and a writer. My job depends on writing, but I love it . . . all kinds of writing. I'm a news junkie, love going to concerts (blues or classical), plays, art galleries, and traveling is a big part of my life. I'm pretty laid back, not very high maintenance, but I expect being treated with respect and given some space to be myself. I do the same with others. I can be alone but enjoy companionship not just for hiking but also for sitting on the porch and talking about news analyses or spirituality. I have a very large amount of responsibility genes . . . like taking care of others, but would most benefit from someone who can keep up with me; I'm very active.
