First off, I'm not really in Key Largo. I'm on my boat, currently in Honduras. If that's not too big a jump for you, please keep reading!
I'm a happy guy, warm hearted, love to touch and hold. Very active in both indoor and outdoor sports, I exercise on a regular basis and expect my partner to do the same, be fit, healthy, slim or athletic. If you are attractive, intelligent, a strong and independent woman, you're what I'm looking for. A sense of humor, an ability to laugh at the world, yourself and me as appropriate is an absolute necessity. High standards, but why settle?
I've been living aboard my sailboat for over 8 years, cruising the Caribbean for the last 5. My plan (fixed firmly in jello) is to spend this winter in the Caribbean (Honduras, Belize, Mexico, Cuba, DR, Jamaica or possibly head up to the Keys after Mexico/Cuba) and then sail up the east coast of the US, through the Erie Canal to the Great Lakes. After that I'll (we?) will spend the summers in the US and winters down south, someplace or just continue cruising, as we decide. Where I am is not nearly as important as who I am with.
As you possibly have determined by now, I love to travel. I've been to Europe several times, visited most every country - missed Finland, Norway and Russia (so far) - intend to go back again. In the Caribbean I've been to most every island from Puerto Rico down to Trinidad, most several times. Also Venezuela, Columbia (love Cartagena), Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico.
When I'm not swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, walking, exploring or working on my boat (constant in the tropics) I read. A lot. Typically 2-3 books per week, and I read most everything. Most recently "A Brief History of Time", "Alaska", "The Collectors" (Baldacci), "A Tan and Sandy Silence" (J. D. MacDonald) and a volume of short storys by Chekov (You must trust and believe in people or life becomes impossible.) Anything by Carl Hiaasen I snap up and read immediately.
But enough about me. My partner absolutely must be physically fit. We don't have to sail all the time, but when we do it can be hard and dangerous. Discreet tatoos are fine, but if you consider your body a canvas for needles, please pass me by. Same goes for piercing. Ear rings are fine of course - I actually like the long, dangeling kind - but that's it. Ok, perhaps a small belly button thing might work. I'd have to closely inspect it of course. Finally, "Harley Chicks", not for me. If you like to ride occasionally, that's fine, so do I. But if Harleys are your life, I'm not your guy.
Music, same eclectic taste as books. A few exceptions: opera, 98% of rap. Other than that, let the band play on.
