Most people are drawn to my personality; I'm friendly and approachable and like to make others comfortable. I like to keep things light-hearted; however, I'm a good conversationalist and will focus on the person I'm with. I am candid but tactful, believe in people and second chances, and passion at any age.

My interests and tastes include yoga, golf (I'm a beginner), history, geneaology, reading, gardening, museums, wine and beer pairings, cooking in/grilling out, most ethnic cuisines. I'm a mother and grandmother and actively involved with family and good friends. I like new experiences and places, time at home, eating out, making memories with friends and family. I enjoy traveling -- whether it's a weekend jaunt or an extended trip -- my dream is Italy!! I enjoy wine and beer pairings, entertaining, learning about new cultures - USA and international, like staying in as much as going out – and so much more.

My ideal match is confident, decisive, able to laugh about things himself as well as life in general. He's family-oriented, likes people and animals – with an open mind and sensual nature. I appreciate a romantic gesture here and there, a good intellect (though I'm not a snob about education or finances), and a sense of humor.

I never thought I'd be writing an online dating profile at my age, but we never know what's just around the corner. I do believe that there's a gent 'out there' who can take life together to a level of enjoyment that we may have thought wasn’t possible. We may end up as friends or devoted companions -- who knows?
