Hi there!
I am a 66 year old widow who believes in the power of prayer, kindness, and sharing a smile! I’m also an extremely honest person (today’s vernacular uses transparent/transparency). But a gorgeous venue is still a gorgeous venue and a pig is still a pig, regardless however it is that one might elect to describe them.
So, in being honest, the purpose of my joining this Dating Site is NOT to simply go on an immediate date or jump into bed with you. Yuck! And that is with a Y! Anyhow, this sort of scenario isn’t going to include me so if this is your purpose you might as well look elsewhere. Now.
I am looking to find a gentleman with whom I might slowly learn to know and he might know me so that together we may eventually experience a long-term relationship. A relationship that’s not immediately defined as sleeping with one another but more properly defined as learning who each other is and what this learning truly entails.
However, I do intend to remarry. Not at this time. Nope! Just not my game. And it would take something short of a miracle to change my mind on this at this time.
I am a Christian who sees myself as a person who can be reserved, inwardly and outwardly spirited, emotionally driven at times, very caring, family devoted, told vivacious, and fun-loving. I enjoy decorating and even then redecorating my home, as attempts to represent a welcoming love and warmth to others as they enter my house. I’m equally happy though when yelling at an ACC college football field in support of my favorite team on a weekend afternoon or evening. I also consider preparing an enjoyable meal such a cool time- - especially when it’s with a chilled glass of Chardonnay to sip along my culinary way!
Perhaps it’s because of my local that I also adore both the Carolina beaches and the NC mountains; their beauty is such a rush, but in various ways.
And it’s the the winter season that I now prefer over the others, with its benefit of being lazy around any cozy fireplace and marshmallow binging. It’s hard to imagine how the colder months haven’t always been more preferable to those months that contain sweltering beach scenes with their stifling hot temperatures, just tepid waters, and useless digging into already over-dug sandy shores, while singing a pitiful tune of, ‘The Sand-Won’t-Stop-Sticking-To-Me Blues’.
I have highlighted blonde, medium length bob-styled (in the back) hair. In height I measure 5 feet 3 inches and I weigh 123 pounds. My eyes are hazel. I am healthy, basically fit but won’t deny more effort towards exercise couldn’t hurt, and not as active in Church and Community Affairs as I used to be.
I am financially self-sufficient, but I am in no way what one would call wealthy. My financial means are meant to cover my own personal costs. And these are guarded.
In men, I really rather prefer those who are taller- say 6 feet, less or more. I would want him to be healthy, physically fit, and reasonably active. Even if you used to be tall, dark, and handsome that’d be approaching pretty great for me. But this height requirement is not a breaking point.
The breaking point would be dishonesty. For a man and me to become at least serious friends there must first be two compatibilities between us; Christianity and honesty.
I also expect you to be financially stable; own your home and car. I do adore family and children, so being a family person would be a definite plus. I do not care for corny jokes (so save the corn for the cows!), nor any false bravado.
Please, with me, anyway, just be yourself. Your real, true self.
