On 20 October 2006 I suffered a life-changing event with a stroke. It has been two years since my event and I have made nothing less then a remarkable recovery. I walk, talk, drive a stick, and in most cases carryon a normal life. It affected my right side and I now am newly left-handed. This is an important event in my life and wanted all to know this up front.

I have been single, married, widowed, and divorced but am happiest in a relationship. I?m an old fashioned guy with small town values looking to share my life, good or bad, with someone who will do the same. I?m a one-woman man looking for a one-man woman. I?m a Navy veteran, hard working, stable, honest, and love to laugh and have a good time.

I am family oriented and a child at heart. Alcohol, tobacco or drugs not needed for my kind of fun. I love the outdoors but am comfortable in most indoors settings. I make friends easily and enjoy meeting new people. I love to travel, here in the US as well as abroad.

Mi idea de diversión es

Since I was in Navy, there is nothing like being at sea and looking out at the night sky and ocean. At night the horizon is at sea level and the stars are all around. The ocean reflects the light from the smallest source. It is so relaxing and peaceful that it is something I miss to this day.

She would be close to home so seeing each other would never be an effert. She would be of average weight to height with shoulder length hair. She would be close to my age but not over 55. She would be no taller then 5' 7". She would not need to be perfect as I am far from it. She would also not be a workaholic so she would always have time for me/us. She would have a good sense of humor, be intelligent, have common sense, and be happy with the little things. Long walks, sitting in front of my fireplace, traveling, and home activities. She would be patient, kind, and slow to anger.
