I'm still new at this, so please bear with me. I'm funny, open-minded, an easy communicator; passionate on many levels, including in my relationships. I enjoy living life to the fullest; learning & growing, making the most of every day. I’m passionate by nature. I feel strongly about things & at the same time get pleasure out of the simplest things.
My tastes in music, art & culture range widely & can be somewhat eclectic. Although I can be serious, I have a great sense of humor and laugh easily. I have a quick mind & a quick tongue, so good natured sparring is often on the agenda. I’m very down to earth. Not at all pretentious (and don’t desire this in a partner). With me, what you see is what you get.
I strive to be the best person I can be; doing the right thing whether it is popular, cheaper, or known to anyone else. I'm adventurous & enjoy new challenges. I don't like being bored. I’m sincere & sensitive, genuine & caring, but can certainly laugh at myself & life's frequent absurdities. I'm a pushover for those I love. It takes some time to get to know me. I can be reserved until I get to know the person.
Life is about living, laughing, loving. A beach is more beautiful, a movie more interesting when there is someone to share with. I enjoy my life, but would also enjoy sharing it with someone… travel, recreational outings, movies, dinner, walks, just relaxing together. I don’t want head games. I want to be totally happy with someone who feels the same way I do.
I believe a committed relationship is a giving, sharing partnership based on friendship, honesty & trust. Old values (e.g. hard work, honesty, integrity, respect, etc) are important to me. The only constant in my life has been change so I’ve learned to be adaptable & flexible. I’m willing to compromise for a good relationship. But, I want a give & take relationship with nobody keeping score.
I’m looking for a mature woman who is her own self & is happy within herself. I have nothing to prove to anymore & I want someone to accept me the way I am - warts and all. I don’t require a crowd of "very best friends" but prefer a few true friends with whom I have a special rapport.
I’m very self confident & happy with where I have evolved as a person. At this juncture of my life I’m in a place where I want someone in my life, rather than need someone in it. I’d like someone to complement me. Could that be you? I’m comfortable being alone; however, I think it would be wonderful to find someone with whom to share life & its many precious moments. I like being at home, but there are so many places to see, things to do, people to meet, adventures to go on ... it would all be wonderful to explore with a loving partner.
I hate the dating scene, bars, etc. I’m actually a little hesitant about on-line dating. The only reason I’m doing it now is because I want to meet someone special to spend the rest of my life with. I’m a one woman man & I hope to find someone to be my one man woman.
