My goal in life is to forgive others immediately when they're unkind, and to love everyone unconditionally, irrespective of race, color or creed. It's a lifelong journey and goal, and each day provides me an opportunity to be a loving and kind spirit and love everyone, regardless of anything else. It's a great feeling because it releases negative, learned behaviors, and allows you to be at peace with yourself and everyone around you. It's not easy, at times, but it can be achieved, and that's my goal.

I look for depth in a person. What are their values, how do they treat others (including restaurant staff, maintenance workers, for example). Is it all about them, or are they concerned and willing to listen to what others have to say. Are they concerned about those less fortunate. Or, are they arrogant, over-confident, a braggert, or just an honest, fun-loving and sensitive person who is interested in what another person has to say, and respect the opinion of others, even if that opinion differs from their own. Someone who has great manners (table and otherwise), great hygiene, organized (at home and othewise), and an independent man who is confident, but without being arrogant.
