Being a retired wildlife rehabilitator, it goes without saying that I love animals. My companions are a 35 pound 7 year old dog of indeterminate breed, a 12 year old cat who enjoys tormenting the dog and two small exotic birds, all rescues. I am also a self taught artist. Books are essential in my life. Good movies are a great pleasure. Other interests, the theater, museums. music, particularly classical and blues, more recently, since he died, a compulsion to listen to everything Leonard Cohen; dining out enjoying good food and better conversation. Exercise consists mainly of hiking with my dog.....if the temperature is at least freezing. My politics are very liberal... On a more personal level, I appreciate good friends and love to laugh..
