I get a kick out of watching and learning more about people and flying to fun, interesting places with Benny Bellanca. I write database programs for worthwhile causes and participate in a Samoyed rescue organization. I'd rather be bored with myself and the dogs than another human...

Characteristics that impress me aren't the ones normally hyped on Internet dating sites. They amount to accepting others as they are, brains combined with common sense, compassion, strong moral and work ethics, the ability to have fun together over long periods of time, complementary rather than supplementary attributes and an ability to share the bad things in our lives as well as the good.

We should agree that parity, drive, intelligence, humor, empathy and mutual acceptance are vital ingredients of a partnership.

To really ignite our potential, characteristics we should share include: confidence, candor, distaste for boring company, quick wit and a desire for mutual respect at all levels of a relationship.

Our hopefully common traits of openness, honesty, intelligence, playfulness, loyalty, higher-than-average ****drive and a positive self image will go a long way toward assuring an enduring, fun, vibrant and mutually rewarding relationship.
