About Me
I'm looking forward to the New Year; it creates new possibilities and new challenges. There are always new things to try and new horizons to cross, maybe our paths will cross in the process.
I enjoy travelling, whether it's within Australia or around Asia or
even the North Pole. I'm originally from the UK (please excuse the
Pommy accent) even after over 30 years here in Oz, I still find this the most wonderful country I have ever visited. I find a good book is hard to beat after a long day at work and if that's accompanied by a CUP of tea, I'm in Heaven.
First Date
I believe our first date would be better served getting to know each other, just a relaxed chat over a coffee somewhere overlooking the bay or a busy little sidewalk cafe in the city and watching life pass by.
It isn’t about me trying to impress by reciting what I’ve accomplished or what I dream of doing in the future. It’s laughing about things that didn’t go too well, like the time I opened a champagne bottle and left the little old lady with a black eye (I did apologise).
Or the time I was vigorously shaking the pancake mix container when the lid flew off leaving the usually spotless kitchen covered in a pancake mix which took months to totally erase and ultimately led to my divorce. OK, I’m a klutz!

to you, giving a sympathetic ear and laughing at all the right times.
Yes, it’s about getting to know each other and talking about our pasts and what we hope for the future.
