About me...
I am loyal, loving and intelligent. I am quiet but gregarious. I like movies and TV. I love music, soft rock, some jazz, blues, classical, some country, and some alternative. I just don't care too much for rap or punk music. I love the guitar, piano, violin, and the cello. There is nothing like a guitar solo by Eric Clapton or Carlos Santana. Some family members, including both parents, were entertainers. I have seen it throughout my heritage, back many generations. Mom was a singer, and dad was a musician. They had their day jobs, though. When I was skinny and 15 years younger I was what I would call pretty. I have been bored and gained weight. Just need the right motivation. I am honest and DON'T like liars. I have one daughter and a son-in-law. I enjoy taking photos of my grandchildren, the oldest is thirteen. One of my grandsons is in Heaven now because of brain cancer. They live in North Carolina for now. I love traveling by car. The journey is half of the fun of traveling.
One of my hobbies is genealogy. I can trace my heritage (through my mother) back to the civil war, so far. I would like someday to once more drive across country to see where my mother grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. It just sounds like fun to me.
Things done when I was young (been there, done that is how I feel about those things): Backpacked down/up the grand canyon, sang and played at a small bistro in Newport, had a few surgeries on my back and neck, and much more. I would describe myself as caring, passionate, fair minded, patient, and conservative.
About the one I'm looking for...
What would I like in a man? A man who is not afraid to tell the truth, a gentleman, stable monetarily and emotionally, honest, generally happy, well-adjusted and NO DRUGS! Hopefully he will like music, watching movies on TV, in a perfect world he might be able to play the guitar and/or piano. Looks are not as important as a good hearted nature, romance is nice but lasts about 2 years tops then friendship and partnership takes over true love, I am not looking for a relationship as much as looking for friends but a relationship would be nice. I am in NO hurry to be married again, but perhaps someday.

My favorite restaurant is the Summit House in Fullerton, CA even if it is a little pricey. I don't go there often.
My biggest secret? I love to sleep.

My thoughts: I am cautious when meeting for the first time so it would depend on whether we had been chatting on the computer and speaking on the phone and if not I would suggest just meeting for coffee until we got to know each other a bit. The possibilities are endless. I won't say intimate until the time would be appropriates. I am a bit shy when I meet someone for the first time. What do I find attractive? Well I don't really rule anything out, it is the combination of one's charecteristics that makes for a good relationship. Everyone likes something that looks good from the outside but the inside counts more than anything. I look for what is behind someones eyes rather than to see someone them from their 'shell'.
