Love is the bond that ties humanity together. I promote love and understanding in all my relationships. I'm a quiet person; but I let my words speak for me as an author of nonfiction and poetry. I've traveled to 38 countries. Retired teacher, education is my passion, and living a healthy lifestyle is key to aging youthfully. I like to sing and dance to all genres of music. I love to play sports, protect animals, children, and acquiring fresh ideas. I'm never bored because I always have things to look forward to. I'm a devout Christian but not "religious." I have one 44 year old son who is my heart's delight. I see a cup half full not half empty taking advantage of opportunities to grow and keep learning. I like romantic dinners, evenings by the fire, affection, and taking long baths in lavender and candlelight. I insist on open, honest, conversations that do not criticize or judge. Faithfulness and trust is key in every relationship. I'm flexible and accepting of opinions not my own. I've lived in the desert, in the woods, in the city, and the country. I love to read a good book as much as watching a riveting movie. I am not materialistic, and I give generously to charitable causes. I live up to my God-given potential and try to help others do the same. I am not political minded but I believe in voting as a gift we should exercise as free citizens of this great nation.
