I came from Cleveland, OH to take a job at Yale in 1994. I worked in New Haven for ten years. I received a clinical faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. I retired from State service in 2009. Since then, I've worked internationally setting up mental health programs in Brazil, Canada, the Netherlands and Israel. I am a bleeding heart liberal and follow all politics closely. I take very good care of my mind and body and would want my partner to do likewise. I love to travel. I went to Glasgow, Scotland for a mental health conference last October. I just returned from Sarasota, FL where I spent an enjoyable month on Siesta Key beach. I am looking for a mate who is adventurous and loves to travel also. I host a community TV show,"Mental Health,Wellness and Recovery!,"for the Greater New Haven area. I continue to write articles in the mental health field. I am known for being a kind person. Coming from the Midwest, I'm easy going and make friends easily. My Brazilian connection is important to me. I speak Portuguese, having been a Peace Corps volunteer in Brazil in the late 1960s. That's more than enough about me. I'm usually not so wordy.

My goal in life is to live each day to the max, work on longterm goals i.e. writing, leave a legacy for educational institutions that I've been connected to i.e. Trinity College, my alma mater.
