I Would Describe Myself As

I am a young 60 plus widow who loves animals, (especially dogs!) butterflies, rainbows, sunflowers and sunsets, the mountains, books (mostly non-fiction), walks in the woods, and writing. I have a great sense of humor, tons of patience, enjoy conversing about any subject under the sun, and have an ongoing love affair with Jesus. I take the Bible literally and do NOT consider it a book of 66 fairy tales. I am fascinated by all things medical as well as holistic health and preventative medicine. My favorite exercise is dancing, although I do not know how to do a lot of the ones that I would LIKE to do, such as ballroom dancing. I am not a diamond and furs lady, but I do like to look nice at all times. I am not a blue jeans aficionado, but I don't mind other people wearing them. I enjoy oldies music from the 60's, both rock and country, and Southern gospel. I love my littlle grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them as often as I can. I was raised on a farm and grew up an only child, so I cry every time I watch reruns of The Waltons. I'm really just a country girl at heart!
