Once upon a time there was the cutest and most adorable man living in a modest condo with his children, Riley, Sienna, Lexie, Spencer and Grey. The wonderful man took very good care of his children. He watered, he fed, he scooped, he vacuumed. He was happy. His children gave him great joy. The man was happy, but surrounded by all this joy, he felt something was missing. He realized that he could not turn to anyone and say, “remember when”. So, the man went on a search in the land with much beauty, but, found that many of the trees had no blooms or blossoms. A closer look revealed that most of the trees stood alone without another of its kind next to it or nearby. When the wind blew, they swayed in harmony. The smell of their leaves and branches and grasses filled the air with a beautiful bouquet of freshness, bringing peace and harmony along with it, especially after a rain. So, the man decided that he would go on a journey. He would walk the land and tell people his story. He would teach them how to plant and sow. He would teach them to plant groves of trees, fields of flowers, ponds and streams, and vast valleys of grasses and flowers.
The man walked for many years, and as time passed, he saw the trees blossoming and the flowers starting to bloom. He saw people working together to bring harmony and strength to the world and making it more beautiful than it already was.
He had taught them to build places to quietly rest and appreciate the beauty. People were resting and contemplating the beauty. They recognized the diversity, and the work it took to bring it all together. And they were happy.
If you are lucky, and walking in the forest, you may run into the man. He will be planting a seed, or laying in the grass, taking time to enjoy the clouds going by and bringing with it the fragrances of the world. And if you stop for a while and sit with him, he will share many stories and perhaps you will add your stories to his as well. And maybe, you will join him on his walk for a while and make new stories and memories together.
