I try to stay as active as I can. I am very, optimistic and love to have fun. I enjoy running, cycling and working out in the gym and I enjoy kayaking and hiking. I enjoy going to the movies and listening to music. I appreciate all types of music with the exception of heavy metal and rap. I don't smoke or do drugs and I want a partner with the same habits...or in this case, lack of habits and someone who enjoys a healthy lifestyle. I am looking for someone to be my equal and share life's ups and downs. I am not looking for someone who is looking for someone to make them happy. If you are not happy before you get what you want, you won’t be happy after you get it. After all, happiness is a state of mind that comes from within. Even though I maintain an active lifestyle I do enjoy "quiet times".

I do not drink coffee but I make the best cup of coffee you ever tasted. I don’t have a large repertoire when it comes to cooking meals but I have not starved yet. My specialty is swordfish cooked on the grill as well as roasted corn on the cob, cooked on the grill.
I love traveling, especially in New England. Weekend get-a-ways in the mountains are always great any time of the year but I am certainly enjoying new surroundings here.

I am a little old fashion in that I will always hold the door open for you, help you on with your coat and when we are walking down the street, you will always have to walk on the inside.
