DA(ABD) degree in music composition. Professional arranger, composer,teacher,AND!retired! Still teach privately in my home for a few students of my choosing and only piano and band instruments. Too,I still play professionally but don't travel as far to play anymore and most of the time it is just me or me and a part-time keyboard player. Also, most of the music is from the 1970's and BACK or show music from Broadway and Off-Broadway productions! Sometimes I even throw in a few Sousa marches!

I am a few days (very few) past 74 now (October 26th) but don't look a day over my late sixties! I'm told that,and so,of course,I accept their judgement!

Church is a large part of my life and,obviously, I have a roll in it's musical performing life. Politically, I am a rock solid republican and still wish Ronald Reagan was president. The only thing I know about foreign affairs is that I don't know anything about foreign affairs! Well, I do know something, but it would roll around in a thimble and make noise!

Only thing I can say about my health is this: I'm in pretty good shape for the shape that I'm in! (Picture of me conducting the orchestra was taken in December of 2011).
