I enjoy life and nature, people, family, food, a little travel, preferably right here in the good old US. Going for walks or hikes are nice, especially when you spot some native birds and wild flowers. I don’t love working out, but try to stay healthy and in shape with diet and activities I have a great collection of cookbooks, gardening, nature, health, Bibles, photography, decoration, and more, and enjoy reading books or articles online. I’ve lived a full, rich life so far and I’m not done yet! I was blessed with 38 wonderful years of marriage to my late wife, who passed away several years ago. Since then, I’ve grown in ways I never expected, rediscovering my independence, reconnecting with old passions, and learning to open my heart again. Originally from the Midwest, I spent many years down South, where the sun is bright and the pace a little slower. I recently moved back closer to family, and I enjoy being part of my grandchildren’s lives. I’m the proud father of one, and the honoured grandfather of a few curious and delightful little ones who remind me daily that joy is in the simple things. At this stage of life, I know what matters most: kindness, laughter, honesty, and connection. I’m looking for someone who appreciates the little things, good conversation, quiet evenings, holding hands while walking, or sitting together with a warm drink on a cool day. I’m not in a rush. I value getting to know someone at their own pace. If you’re someone who believes love and companionship don’t have an expiration date, then I’d truly like to hear from you. Let’s share stories, laughter, and perhaps even a few new adventures. I believe the best chapters may still lie ahead.
