Have been divorced for 10 years and am living on my own with my 2 dogs and 2 cats for company. I wake up to the sound of birds in the morning.

Live in a large thatch home in the 'country village' of Henley on Klip which is absolute tranquility. Not quite a tree hugger, but attempt to live as green as I can.

Am an engineer and am reasonably intelligent and choose friends who have good intellect. Am effectively self employed and do what I enjoy.

I have 2 lovely married daughters who live their own lives and I have 2 adorable grandsons who I try to spoil.

Enjoy the outdoors and braaing with friends (and sometimes family) and avidly watch The Sharks. Love F1 and travelling around SA.

Thoroughly enjoy cooking and am adventurous with generally good results, and I enjoy good wine.

I broke my leg recently and am a bit immobile at present, but doesn't stop me from getting out and about.

I have good manners and will treat my partner with respect and she will be spoilt enormously.
