New to the Frisco area from San Diego, California. Although slightly afraid, I'm attempting to get my feet wet in this new age world of dating. Would like to meet a professional gentleman who is patient, kind, caring, and compassionate. A good listener and conversationalist, one who is self sufficient, mature, intellectually sound, and has a good sense of humor. Must love pets, be a non-smoker/social drinker, and drug and disease free.Taking pride in ones appearance is a must. Communication, honesty and trustworthiness are necessary qualities, as they are the basic building blocks of any successful friendship/relationship. Without them, it's like building a house in quicksand, and expecting it to stand. As far as religion, I'm a spiritual person, and feel religion is what, and anywhere you feel comfortable with God. We all have our own beliefs and values. I like to stay current on world events and happen to be a CNN News buff. I'm a Democrat, and will always be democratic. Political discussions are okay, as long as they don't lead to arguing, and "somebody" sleeping on the couch. I enjoy cooking, dining out, the theatre, amusement parks and used to be an avid roller skater. I like music and like to dance. I only do the "Two Step" and an occasional turn. My favorites are R&B Classic soul, some jazz and the like. All in all, I'm a simple woman that lives a simple, yet comfortable life. The biggest house, most expensive car, and keeping up with the Jones' is not my style. I believe in cleanliness, comfort, remaining stress free, and living within my means. I'm not the shopping kind. Know what I want, get it, and I'm out most of the time. Home is where we spend a lot of time, and I make every effort to make it comfortable. I'm open to new ideas and adventures within reason. I'm a little shy at first, but can be quite the character once warmed. If I sound like someone you'd like to get to know, by all means, please let me know, and let the adventure begin.

I look for him to smile allowing me to see his teeth. It gives a gauge of ones hygiene. I look at his hands and nails, and see what condition his shoes are in. My explanation of my rationale will be left for a later discussion. I expect to be treated like a lady, and he a gentleman.
