I'm a "doer" rather than watching life pass me by. I have been "retired" for 18 years but am unable to sit around doing nothing. After a very active career in the Film and Television industry, I have been a business rescuer, importer of laser typesetters, telecommunications disrupter, Captain of Port of Melbourne's rapid response vessel and an ESL tutor. In 2015 I returned to live in beautiful Melbourne after 5 years living and working in China. I have continued teaching English as a Second Language and prepare candidates for the IELTS English test required for university entrance and for visas. I am intelligent and have a highly developed sense of humour. I am a fair and rational thinker, without being at all pedantic and thoroughly enjoy conversations at all levels. Having produced TV current affairs programs I have a huge interest in both domestic and international issues. I believe in honesty and respect at all times and have a well-developed sense of social justice. Often I marvel at how wonderful much of my life is. I am constantly overjoyed that I have such a wonderful, warm circle of acquaintances and friends. Food and wine is a big interest which Melbourne caters to extremely well. Live bands, weekends exploring Victoria, indeed Australia, time with family and friends, Melbourne on foot with my dog, AFL, tennis and cricket now satisfy my sporting interests and I love the culinary delights suggested by produce at Victoria and South Melbourne markets. In addition to producing many television specials for world markets, I have also written, and had published, two books ... the second being a cookbook! The only way to know if a relationship has a happy future is to meet and see how we feel afterwards ... at the least another adventure but it could also herald an amazing future. Looking for: What I want is that "best friend", a true partner happy to spend time in shared activities and who still enjoys the occasional adventure. I believe, and practice, respect and honesty. People who ignore winks are disrespectful and those who judge by age difference should take a chance on love.
