I am a widower after 38 years of marriage. Retired after nearly 40 years in banking and investments. I stay in good physical condition by working out, hiking, running, or walking every day. I enjoy the outdoor activities of the White Mountains, including downhill skiing, and to beat the heat of the Valley of the Sun. I enjoy traveling and every year I spend a week in San Diego in July and also Lake Tahoe (summers and winters). I've traveled to Europe and would like to see more places there. I would love to share these activities with someone I could call my best friend. I am a spiritual, but not a religious person. I live by the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. I am easy-going, patient, and I have no “baggage”. I am romantic and will always remember your birthday and “our anniversary”. I enjoy going out to “candle-light” dinners for special occasions. I am passionate, both mentally and physically, but I am a gentleman. I value a lady who is emotionally healthy, of strong character, with a sense of humor, intelligent/educated, independent, open-minded, easy-going, spontaneous and will care about me as much as I care about her. I would like her to share in my interests, but I am open to new interests that she may want me to share with her. My interests include attending sporting events as well as watching my “local” teams on TV. I also enjoy art walks and museums. I am a Tom Clancy, Ian Fleming, and Robert Patterson fan, in addition to reading non-fiction historical books. I love the movies, especially, action/adventure, but I can shift to romantic comedies as well. I also have my favorite TV programs, ranging from Big Bang Theory to Blue Bloods, Person of Interest, CSI, NCIS, etc. If I sound like a match, please send me a message.
