I moved to Pittsburgh shortly after my wife died back in February 2021– and, between not knowing anyone here except my son and his wife and COVID, I've found it difficult to meet very many new people. I don't have any specific hopes in joining this dating app – but I’m also totally open-minded as to what might happen.
I’ve made some memorable bad choices in life – but also lots of good ones. And while I don’t dwell on the past, I do try to learn from it.
I try to accept people as who they are now rather than who they’ve been over the course of their lives. That doesn’t mean I’m not interested in learning about their life journey – but rather that I’m more interested in what they plan to do with their future.
If you’re looking for a “companion”, I’m not your guy. And if you’re a Trump supporter, I am definitely not your guy.
At this point, I’m looking for a woman who is intelligent, interesting, attractive, independent, affectionate – and, most of all, a woman who is interested in creating new memories for both of us.
