I’m not in a rush for a relationship, but I am already planning to leave here in the near future to head to warmer places; could be as a "snowbird" or permanently. I’ve sold my condo & car and am ready to pack my suitcases. If dating and communication work well and the chemistry is there, then I will consider a long term relationship and possibly a move to another city or country.

I look and feel at least ten years younger than the number of birthdays I've had.
I enjoy sunshine and laughter and a special person to share it with. I’m a romantic and enjoy making my partner feel special.
While I very much enjoy sharing activities and spending time with an interesting partner, I expect my partner to respect my space and not feel left out when I do some things alone.

Spending time with someone special. Travel, sightseeing, interesting humorous conversation, flea markets, looking for antiques, renovating, eating outdoors, watching the sunrise, walking in the rain or through Autumn leaves, reading while cuddled up before a fire during the winter, cooking a special meal for a loved one.

A partner who is somewhat adventurous, likes to travel overseas and spend some time exploring castles, museums, wineries, restaurants, etc. He’s spontaneous yet does some planning; he’s active and enjoys both physical and emotional intimacy in a relationship.

He’s passionate but not fanatical or obsessed with a sport, or hobby. He has depth to his thinking and enjoys discussing the usual and unusual things in life. He’s intelligent, enjoys reading, and not just the sports section of the newspaper.

If he likes to cook, that’s a bonus. If he’s eager to learn, I’m happy to work alongside and teach him. I'm also happy to learn from him. If he enjoys music other than twangy country & western, we’ll get on well; but if C & W is part of his collection I can tolerate it in small doses. He loves animals - cats, dogs, horses and really enjoys being with and learning to understand them.

If he enjoys riding a motorbike, don’t expect me to be along for the ride; my bike days are over. I am not religious so don’t expect to convert me if you are; I’ve already been there as well. Of course I’m looking for all the qualities that people usually say they have, e.g. patient, kind, loving, honest, easy to know, etc. but most of all I am looking for honesty and integrity. If you're still lying about yourself by this time in life, stick to deceiving yourself and leave good people alone.
