I am a widow of some two and a half years. I think I am a capable lady though really miss having someone special to share life with. Live in Cumbria but originally from Mid Wales. Have family pretty much all over and I have 2 sons, a daughter in law and 2 gorgeous grandchildren. Family is very important to me but so is making the most of the rest of my life. I would like to meet someone that I would be excited about - initial chemistry so important but a personality is also very important. I need someone who. can make me laugh and is fun to be with whether at home, on holiday, going to the pub or on a walk. I am not keen on arrogance and also think compassion is terribly important.

I have an active busy life and I am currently having a house built so life is pretty full on but soon that will come to an end and I then have my freedom back.

I have met some lovely ladies on solo holidays but feel I am missing that special person who would look after me and whisk me away occasionally. Saying that I am capable of looking after myself, most of the time anyway, but I do get so lonely and would love to be spoiled rotten now and then. A little old fashioned perhaps but some of us girls enjoy being looked after😊
