I am a good conversationalist and listener. Very accommodating and supportive. Can be funny and imaginative. I enjoy laughing and making others laugh and feel good about themselves. I enjoy live entertainment like stand-up comedians, theater, concerts, and most kinds of music. What I enjoy the most is doing things for the first time, Going to new places, new restaurants, doing new things, learning new things, exploring new ideas, understanding new feelings others have or I have. I love seeing how things are done or made in factories or farms or by hand while someone is doing something crafty for example. I try to accept people as they are, thinking no one is perfect. And everyone has their good side and some faults I like to be open and honest but I do not like to hurt people, even accidentally. If I do, it is unintentionally and easy for me to apologize if someone will explain why I was wrong, or made a mistake. I like when people explain their emotions and why they feel the way they feel so that I can understand and incorporate that into my communication with them. I sincerely regret making mistakes and try to avoid that as much as possible. I try to be a considerate person and treat others the way they would like to be treated and in a kind way. I try not to expect other people to read my mind and know what I’m thinking. I would prefer they simply asked what I think or feel so I can tell them and they don’t have to guess. And I would like other people to do that for me too. I try to be responsive to peoples efforts to be considerate and helpful, or nice. I don’t take advantage of people or use them to my advantage. I am intelligent but not tech savvy. Technology is my weakest link and I am very self-conscious about all the things I cannot do with technology today.
I do not want to drive anymore but I like going places and doing things with another person who can drive and is willing to. I am looking for a person who will appreciate and like being with me. Someone who is present with me and in the moment and looked forward to being with me again as much as I enjoy being with that person and look forward to being with that person again in the future and in the moment. Trustworthiness and safety are very important to me as is honesty. I am looking for someone who presents opportunities to have fun and learn new things, And is appreciative of having new experiences, exploring new and different places, or possibly traveling in the future on cruises, or day trips, or weekend excursions. I like when people expose me to their new hobbies or interests and have them. I am not athletic anymore so I appreciate when people who are can participate without expecting me to be able to keep up with their abilities which I do not have anymore. I like being close to someone emotionally, but I do not need to be joined at the hip to athletic people or people that have some interests that I do not have or enjoy. Communication is very important to me. I am very comfortable with questions, boundaries other people have, discussing intentions or commitments. I love brainstorming to solve problems and find ideas that can be tried and may work to help a situation. I appreciate a person willing to try to accommodate or change when necessary. I will not tolerate any physical abuse or violence. That is a game changer, and the game would be over, Immediately! I’m looking for someone that would care as much as about me as they were about them self, I am looking for a person that shows enthusiasm for things and emotions because it makes it fun to be with them, more interesting, And feeling more like a shared experience. I am also looking for someone around my age who understands what that is like. I appreciate a person who can plan things, be dependable, reliable and competent without being controlling. I want us both to be important to each other in a mutually satisfying relationship. I am optimistic and hopeful that that can happen in the future.
