For the past seven years my career took up too much of my life. I worked 6-7 days a week putting in 50-70 hours per week. It left no time for a personal life or dating.
After losing my job I decided to use my time to help care for my elderly parents while I re-asses my life and goals and continue my education.
During the past few months I completed my first novel which I am happy to say will be released June 15th, 2013. I am already working on several other new books excited about this new turn of my life. It is much easier to capture love and happiness on paper than it is to find it in real life, but if anything I am persistent.
I am seeking someone hopefully who is as eclectic as I am. I can enjoy the finer things in life but I am very down to earth. I know the things that are most important can not be purchased. my taste in music includes classical, big band, classic rock and roll, contemporary but not big into hip-hop or rap. I can go from Frank Sinatra to Frank Zappa and enjoy each as easily as the other.
I like dining out, cooking gourmet meals at home or can be just as happy with a BBQ, take-out or a box of mac and cheese as long as the company is good. I like fishing and boating, pools, hot tubs, picnics, spontaneous overnight or weekend getaways, museums, festivals, concerts, the theater, movies and some TV.
I prefer comedies action and documentaries but I'll go to a chick flick or horror movie if my friend wants to see one.
F R I E N D There's the key...what I seek and want. Let's get to know each other honestly and openly with no pretense. We are what we are, either we will get along or we wont, so let's not waste time playing games or pretending we are something we are not.
Communication is very important to me, so is a sense of humor. I see humor in most things often pointing it out freely. I like sharing laughter. I like to share how I feel.
I believe is two people are together they should think more about what they can do to make the other person happy...little things like remembering how they like their coffee, a favorite color, flower or song. Have you ever read a book or magazine that you really had no interest in but your lover did so you read it to bring greater understanding between you both? I have.... it works wonders.
I love romance, sharing my feelings and letting someone know how much I appreciate the little things that make her unique. I love to cuddle, touch and hold my woman. Love to kiss and think a kiss can be more intimate than intercourse if done correctly.
I want it all, a friend, a lover, a partner, and a muse all in the same woman. Let's start with friends and build from there
