I Would Describe Myself As

I like to be around people. I’ve spent a lot of time involved in community theatre. I really want to go to Africa or Thailand to visit an elephant sanctuary. I want to meet the elephants up close and personal , to touch them and talk to them. I live by myself since my husband of 52 years died, almost 4 years ago. Well, I’m not entirely alone at home. I have 2 dogs and a cat, all rescues. I’m not fond of people who don’t like animals. I like to write. I’ve authored a number of plays., as well as a kind of family history And I’ve recently taken up sketching. I’m working on pencil sketches of my grandchildren.
I’m not looking for a great romance. I’m looking for a
deep friendship kind of thing. Someone to hold my hand when we cross the street. A shoulder to lean on when bad news comes. And someone who needs the same from me. A good sense of humor is a must.I’m not a needy kind of person and don’t appreciate that quality in others.
