I have been a widow since 2017, after a 32 year marriage. My husband and I raised his twin, deaf sons together as well as the son and daughter we had together. It was a busy time for us all.
My home is my sanctuary but I love to travel, go to concerts, theatre, and eat out in nice restaurants. I also love to go for brisk walks, which I do daily. I have a bicycle which I’d like to ride more often than I do.
Two years ago, I began hosting a weekly podcast aimed at baby boomers which has given me great joy.
Most of my working life was spent working with parents - giving talks, facilitating groups and doing one on one coaching. I also taught American Sign Language for over 30 years.
