adventurous, curious, honest, warm, and an odd mix of irreverent leftiness and traditional values (would like to skip Christmas but treasure Thanksgiving). I'm a sociable introvert with a thousand interests. I'm open minded, lean more toward the practical than the romantic and can be more tender hearted than practical.

I enjoy antique shops, bookstores and IKEA. I love games, puzzles, OPB/NPR and nice dogs. I prefer the progressive left, like to stay abreast of global affairs and am as comfortable at the symphony as on the hiking trail.

Travel is on my bucket list and although I'm not wedded to the concept, I'm open to living abroad or snowbird life with the right person.

Spiritually speaking, I follow some eastern practices that include meditation, yoga and qi gong.
