Hi,

I'm Gary and I live in Grawn (just outside of Traverse City).

My physiological age is much younger than my chronological age. I’m a widower, non-smoker, no drugs (ever), light drinker (occasional glass of wine), affectionate, believe in commitment and trust, christian values, positive, respectful, great sense of humor, training for Senior Olympics (exercise 3 or 4 times a week), middle of the road politics, dogs are okay, cats not so much (I’m allergic to some cats) and I always put the toilet seat down.

I enjoy being with that special person, sunsets at the beach, dancing (I’m learning), canoeing, kayaking, photography, fishing, camping, cuddling by a fire, special date nights that we decide on and with the right person just about anything can be fun. I’m not into downhill skiing, golf, rollerblading, or ice skating. Just about anything else I’ll give it a try.

I believe both parties need to communicate to build a stronger relationship, be willing to compromise, share and try new experiences. I have a healthy self-esteem and will not be possessive or controlling of the other person as that’s not how a relationship works. It has to work for both parties. I'm looking for a relationship that would start off being friends and see if it develops into something more. I'm in no rush. We should take time to get to know each other.
